Duff Females to the fore at Brisbane Ekka 2014

Duff Red Brangus females again gave a dominant display at the Brisbane Exhibition culminating with Duff Red Garnet G12 winning the Senior and Grand Champion Brangus Female. Duff Red Garnet was Reserve Champion Heifer to her stable mate Duff Red Gem G70 in 2013 but went one better this year by taking out the major award.  Duff Red Brangus heifers, Red Apple J67, Red Heels H76 and Red Honey H8 all won their respective classes with Duff Red Honey H8 also awarded Reserve Junior Champion Heifer.
 
Duff Red Brangus Groom, Emily Lovett also had a successful Ekka leading both broad ribbon winners and being named runner up in the State Final of the Parader’s Competition.
 
The team was looked after by Head Groom, Lucy Roche and Emily Lovett with Maddyson Moir from Monto High School also helping on judging day.
 
The day also provided stud principal Stephen Duff an opportunity to catch up with friends and family which included Cr. Kathy Duff , Mark and Toni O’Shannessy and RNA Steward, Michael Duff.
